About us
foreveradmired is a curated archive of rare and exceptional high-fashion garments — pieces kept for what they are rather than for what season they belong to.
Everything here is one of one. When a piece is sold it stays in the archive, browsable and catalogued, because the record of what has passed through is part of the collection.
The pieces
Each garment is listed with its house, its season and year, its materials and its size, and photographed on a form rather than flat, so what it does when worn is visible.
Condition is described piece by piece. Where a measurement matters it is given; where it has not been taken, it is not guessed at. Anything not stated is something to ask about.
Press loans
Pieces from the permanent collection are not for sale, and pieces that are for sale can still be borrowed. Both are available for editorial, exhibition and film.
Loans are arranged one at a time and in writing. Tell us which pieces and what they are for, and we will come back with what is possible.
Orders & shipping
Prices are in euro. Payment is taken by Shopify's own checkout — this site never sees a card.
Because every piece is unique, two people can hold the same garment at once; whoever completes checkout first has it, and the other is told plainly rather than left with an error. Shipping is quoted at checkout once there is an address to quote for.
Terms of sale
Each garment is sold as it is described and as it is photographed, as a used piece of its age. Wear that belongs to the age of a piece is part of it rather than a fault in it; anything beyond that is written on the piece's own page. A sale is agreed when checkout completes.
Photographs are not retouched to flatter. Screens still differ, and a colour on yours may not be the colour in the room — where a shade or a texture matters to you, ask before you buy and we will describe it.
Prices and descriptions are set by hand, and a hand can slip. Where a piece has been listed at the wrong price or described wrongly, we may cancel the order and refund it in full rather than hold you to the error. We can also decline an order we cannot ship, or one for a piece already committed elsewhere.
If you are buying as a consumer in the European Union, you have fourteen days from the day a piece reaches you to change your mind — for any reason, and without giving one. Tell us inside those fourteen days and you have fourteen more to send the piece back.
It has to come back as it went out: unworn beyond what trying it on requires, with its tags still on. We refund what you paid, and the standard outbound shipping with it, within fourteen days of the piece reaching us or of your proof that it is on its way. Return postage is yours, unless what arrived was faulty or was not what was described.
The fourteen days and the refund that follows them are your rights under European law, and are not ours to withdraw. Nothing written here limits what you are owed if a piece arrives damaged or does not match its description.
The photographs, the descriptions and the catalogue are ours. Read them, link to them, quote them — but they are not stock. They are not for resale listings, for other archives, or for training a model, and permission to use them that way has to be asked for.
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Where your own country gives you a consumer right that it does not allow to be signed away, you keep it.
These terms can change. What governs a sale is what was published on the day the sale was agreed, not what is published now.
Privacy
foreveradmired decides what this site does with what you give it, and answers for it. Anything in this section — a question, a correction, a copy of what we hold, a request to delete it — goes to info@foreveradmired.com.
The site keeps two things in your browser, and neither is about you. A cart: the identifier of a Shopify basket, so the pieces you have chosen survive a refresh. It expires by itself after thirty days, and no script on the page can read it. And whether you have sound on. Your currency is not stored at all — it rides in the address bar, which is why a page you send someone reads the way it read for you.
There is no analytics on this site. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and no third-party fonts: the typefaces are served from this domain rather than fetched from anyone who would see you asking. There is no consent banner because there is nothing here to consent to.
When you write to us, the form sends your name, your email, your subject, your message, and the reference numbers of whichever pieces you picked. Nothing else — it never sees your cart, and it does not ask where you live. We use it to answer you, and that is the only thing we use it for.
Getting a message to us, and this page to you, involves three others. Resend carries the message, from servers in Ireland. It arrives at info@foreveradmired.com, which forwards to a mailbox we read. The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps the ordinary access logs any host keeps, including the address your request came from. The photographs are served by Shopify, so loading a page means your browser asking Shopify for them.
Checkout is Shopify's own, on Shopify's pages. Your card details never touch this site — there is no code here that could read them. What you give Shopify at checkout is held by Shopify under their terms, not ours.
An enquiry stays in the mailbox for as long as answering it takes, and as long afterwards as the correspondence is worth keeping. Nothing is sold, and nothing is passed to anyone beyond the three named above.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it corrected, ask for a copy to take elsewhere, or ask for it deleted. Write to info@foreveradmired.com and we will do it. If you think we have handled your data badly and we have not put it right, you can complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, the ANSPDCP.
